Summer Camp 2025

Marin Horizon Summer Camp
 

Open to all children, regardless of whether they attend school at Marin Horizon.​

  • Open to children ages 3 to 5, rooms are grouped by age. 3-year-olds must be potty trained to participate in camp.

  • Regular hours are from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

  • Extended care hours are 8:30-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:30 p.m. 

  • Please send a snack and a bag lunch with your child.

Kindercamp

Specifically for kindergarten students who are enrolled at Marin Horizon for the 2025-2026 school year.​

  • Regular hours are from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

  • Extended care hours are 8:30-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:30 p.m.

  • Please send a snack and a bag lunch with your child.

  • Designed to give students (and parents) the opportunity to acclimate to the new school year in order to ease the transition to Kindergarten.

  • Teachers will introduce a variety of classroom routines and lively activities to provide campers with a foundation for kindergarten.

Our Weekly Themes

Fun and academic, this summer's weeklong themes include:​

WEEK 1: Cultures of the World
(June 16-20) | $410

Embark on a global adventure! Campers will dive into diverse cultures through folktales, crafts, food exploration, and exciting games. Special guests will join to create an immersive experience, from teaching yoga to introducing words in new languages. With international snacks, folk tales, and hands-on activities, this week is all about sparking curiosity and an appreciation for the world around us. Get ready for a fun-filled journey of creativity, exploration, and learning!

WEEK 3: America the Beautiful - Outdoor Adventures
(June 30-July 3) | $410
Campers will enjoy outdoor adventures like scavenger hunts, nature drawing, and exploring their five senses through hands-on activities. Depending on age, students will visit local parks, from favorite Mill Valley spots to the Marin Headlands. Special guests will bring the fun with dance inspired by nature and animals! It’s a week of exploration and awe as campers connect with the world beyond the classroom.
WEEK 5: Superhero Week
(July 14-18) | $510

Unleash your superpowers during Superhero Week. Campers will dive into what makes a true hero—bravery, kindness, and strength—through exciting books, obstacle courses, and imaginative play. From tackling thrilling challenges to designing their own superhero personas, every camper will have the chance to feel like a hero. And remember—princesses can be heroes too! Get ready to save the day!

WEEK 2: STEM Week
(June 23-27) | $510
Get ready to channel your inner scientist during STEM Week! Campers will dive into science, technology, engineering, and math with hands-on experiments, creative building challenges, and teamwork activities that make learning exciting. From designing and constructing inventions, to building the tallest tower, to solving fun puzzles, each activity sparks creativity and problem-solving. This week is all about discovery and fun!
WEEK 4: Cooking Week - 
The Great Horizons Baking Show

(July 7-11) | $510
It’s Cooking Week, and we’re welcoming our young chefs for a tasty adventure!  Campers will explore the joys of cooking, from fun food experiments to creating delicious snacks. They’ll get hands-on with cake decorating, learn to use kitchen tools, and discover the art of whisking, rolling, and crafting new dishes. Special guest appearances by Chef Poppy will add excitement with fun culinary challenges to spark creativity and build skills.
WEEK 6: Sports Week
(July 21-25) | $510
Get ready to break a sweat and have a blast during Sports Week! Campers will dive into a variety of exciting sports and games, from classic team sports like soccer and basketball to fun challenges like relay races and obstacle courses. Along the way, they’ll be inspired by stories of young athletes, take pride in teamwork, and practice important motor skills. Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a week of fun, fitness, and friendly competition!

Extended care hours: 8:30-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:30 p.m.  

Fees for morning care: 3 Days - $24, 4 Days - $32, 5 Days - $40

Fees for after care:  3 Days - $60, 4 Days - $80, 5 Days - $100

Warm & Welcoming Staff

With a 12:1 camper to counselor ratio, we offer small group supervision at all times and a policy of inclusion to ensure all campers receive the attention they deserve. Most of our counselors are full-time teachers at Marin Horizon during the school year.

Safety is our first Priority

We maintain strict protocols throughout the school year that will continue to be in effect over the summer. All of our teachers have received training on classroom cleaning and disinfecting procedures and we utilize outdoor classroom spaces often.

Cancellation/Refunds Policy

Tuition must be paid in full when registering each camper. All requests for a refund must be made in writing.
